more and more weaving this year

I'm still not weaving great things, but what I am weaving is improving. I can't complain about that! :)

note: i want to apologize for the awful images, i can't seem to get it right lately

such beautiful yarn from a family owned mill in Florence sold by Gist Yarns, it's linen cotton blend (the yellow is 100% cotton Bluegrass Mills from The Woolery)

Yay, a lemon ice waffle weave towel is off of the loom. Next is washing and hemming. Dimensions are 47" x 22". This will shrink a lot, 33 - 36 inches in length and 24 - 26 inches in width. I really like this structure. #glimåkra #glimakra #waffleweave #w

ten towels on one warp, sorry so blurry
I've finished the 10 plain weave cotton towels on one warp. Some of my selvedges are a bit rough here. But they looked better after washing.

it's a

new year, I hope it brings beauty and enlightenment. But I think those are things we have to get for ourselves aren't they? :)
